September 21, 2007:
Happy autumn everyone! Hard to believe we're heading into another winter already. Well, in Canada anyways. But let's just try to accept it and move on, OK? After a long break in the midst of recording our, still untitled, third CD...we're back at it! Did I mention this one is gonna be a full-length album? Drums, bass, acoustic guitar parts are all done. Jeff Kushner is up next with the electric guitar. Jeff Burns is doing his usual stellar job of recording us, and explaining all kinds of technical stuff that none of us has any hope of ever understanding. Can't blame a guy for trying though. Still not really sure when the CD will be done, but we promise to do a better job of keeping you posted. Thanks for hanging in there with us! SB. |

Recording of the 3rd Beagle Ranch CD, as yet untitled, is underway! Last weekend's setup took a few days, but we managed to get about 10 drum tracks down. 4 more tonight! That's crazy progress, but when it feels good - go with it! About 5 more drum tracks to go and then lots of other instruments, vocal tracks, overdubs, etc. It's all sounding amazing! Come on back to the site soon and we'll have some photos of us in action in the recording studio. See ya, S. |
